Week 5, Term 3

Room 1

Welcome to week 5, this week Bailey started School.  We are slowly growing again!

We have been doing a lot of learning in Room 1.  This week we have focused a lot on our numbers.  Take a look at the different ways we have been practising our maths.

On Thursday Room 19 came to see Room 1 and Room 23 to teach us our School Haka.  We hadn't started School when everyone else learnt it so now its our turn.  We will be able to join in at Friday assemblies now!

Week 4, Term 3

Room 1

Welcome to week 4! We have had big changes this week, most of us have moved out to Room 23.  We are building up our class again.  Here is our new Room 1 class.  This week Lennox, Folau and Jack started School.

We have been busy working with room 23 to start creating our dance for inquiry.  First we talked a lot about the different types of dance we know and came up with our favourite.  We all liked:

• Tap
• Ballet
• Hip Hop
• Robot
• Waltz

Now Miss Rushbrook and Miss S are helping to create dance moves for each type of dance.

Week 3, Term 3

Room 1

Welcome to week 3! Here is our new Room 1 class.  Diego and Zaafira have now started School.

We have been doing lots of learning in Room 1, here are some examples of what we have been up to.

We have also looked a the Commonwealth Games that took place over the last few weeks in Glasgow.  New Zealand did really well!  Look at our logo and tally chart we made about the Games.

Week 1, Term 3

Room 1

Welcome to week 1, the first week of term 3.  Time has flown by... Here is our new Room 1 class, even with our new teacher Miss S! This week Jorja, Jahvontae, Nitesh and Trinity started School.

On Wednesday we were lucky enough to have our own Disco.  We got to dance (and sing) to some of our favourite songs.  There were cool lights and a DJ.  Check out our dancing moves.

On Friday we had Ronald McDonald come and talk to us about road safety.  We learnt how to be safe when in a car and when walking on the footpath.

Week 9, Term 2

Room 1

Welcome to week 9, the last week of term! Here is our new Room 1 class.  This week Sincear started School.

We got to go and visit a lot of different classes this week and look at their inquiry products about citizenship.  We learnt a lot about cyber safety.

On Wednesday we went to Room 5.  They had made a movie about the four rules of being safe online.

On Thursday we visited the senior school.  Here is room 14's presentations.
