Room 1

Welcome to week 8. Here is our new Room 1 class.  This week Ankush started School.

We have been learning about citizenship.  We have decorated our own rubbish bins that we can use at home.  Good citizens put their rubbish in the bin.

Welcome to week 7. Here is our new Room 1 class.  This week Joziah and Charli started School.

This week we have started to get our portfolios ready to take home. 

We have been talking about being good citizens so one of our portfolio sheets is about what makes us a good citizen.  Here are some examples.

 

Week 6, Term 2

Room 1

Welcome to week 6. Here is our new Room 1 class.  This week Lily and Ianeta started School.

On Thursday we had our art session with Whaea Dagmar.  We looked at some different portraits by some Vincent Van Gogh and Henri Matisse.

We got to create our own Matisse inspired portrait.  There were lots of different steps.  first we had to do the black outlines.

     

Next we added colour, we got to choose the colours we wanted to use.

Lastly we went back over our black lines to make the colour stand out.

Week 5, Term 2

Room 1

Welcome to week 5. Here is our new Room 1 class.  This week Joelina started School.

This week was a short week because we had Queen's Birthday on Monday which meant an extra day off School.  Here are some stories of what we got up to.


In the long weekend my TV broke.  We can still watch it. - Xaviar

In the long weekend I was sick.  I stayed at home and watched TV. - Dustin
